The Role

As an NRMA Sales and Service Consultant, you will become an insurance expert and be the first point of contact for new and existing customers. The role involves converting sales inquiries and servicing renewing customers through exceptional customer experiences while achieving sales targets and KPIs. Working in a fast-paced call centre, you will experience a structured environment that requires agility and the ability to work under pressure.

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week), Monday to Friday, with shifts between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm. Your shifts could be from 8.00 am – 4.00 pm or 12.00 pm – 8.00 pm, and full availability within these hours is required. Rosters are issued 3-4 weeks in advance.

Key Responsibilities:

* Responding to high volumes of inbound calls from NRMA insurance customers about policies, including inquiries, purchases, amendments, or cancellations.
* Handling Insurance and NRMA Membership Products (Car, Home, CTP, Roadside Assistance).
* Meeting KPIs and compliance standards.

* Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong computer literacy and navigation skills.
* Ability to work independently and be self-reliant.
* Flexibility to work both from the office and from home, requiring a high-speed internet connection and a private home office that meets OH&S standards.
* Attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills.
* Positive, flexible team player attitude.
* Willingness to learn — we can teach you the skills

Start date: Thursday, 29th May 2025.

Operating hours: Monday to Friday, 8 am - 8 pm (shifts of 8 hours), roster released 3-4 weeks in advance.

Includes comprehensive onboarding and paid training. Police and credit (bankruptcy) checks are required.

This is a hybrid role, working both remotely and at our Nowra office within a 30-minute radius.
