- This position will provide the successful applicant with opportunities to gain early career experience working in a well-supported multi-disciplinary team environment. The Social Work team consists of over 40 staff members who work across the City and Royal Park Campuses in acute, sub-acute and community based services across a range of specialties. We enjoy a collaborative and supportive working environment with the Grade 1 roles rotating yearly to maximise clinical exposure and professional development.
**Your new role**:
- Make a difference to the lives of the patients you meet through psychosocial assessments and provision of Social Work clinical interventions.
- You will help us achieve excellence in patient care across the continuum of acute to community care.
- In return, you will be supported by your Social Work and Multidisciplinary team colleagues, Social Work Team Leaders, Clinical Lead and Managers.
**About you**:
- You are looking to expand your Social Work skills and work with a dynamic professional team.
- You have qualifications which are acceptable for membership to the Australian Association of Social Workers.
- You demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and in co-operation with others.
- You have clinical skills and experience in comprehensive assessment, counselling and discharge planning.
