THE ROLE
As the company's Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate, detailed and commercially sound estimates for bespoke residential projects. You will work closely with our design, pre-construction and construction teams to ensure pricing reflects both design intent and buildability, while maintaining our quality and margin expectations. This role suits someone who thrives in a collaborative, detail-oriented environment and understands the nuances of high-end residential construction. It is a trusted, senior role with genuine influence across the pre-construction and delivery phases of each project.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare detailed cost plans, estimates and budgets for bespoke residential projects
Review architectural and consultant documentation and identify risks, gaps and opportunities
Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive and accurate pricing
Work closely with project managers, designers and leadership to refine scopes and budgets
Maintain and develop estimating systems, benchmarks and supplier relationships
Assist with value engineering and cost optimisation while protecting design intent and quality
ABOUT YOU
Proven experience estimating high-end or architecturally designed residential projects
Strong understanding of construction methods, finishes and premium materials
Exceptional attention to detail and commercial acumen
Ability to interpret complex architectural documentation
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience with estimating software and construction management systems (Wunderbuild or similar highly regarded)
