Responsibilities
- Analyse, design, develop and integrate a broad range of software applications into both Windows and Linux environments.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines and Software Development Environment, driving capability forward.
- Work in a small team to implement software functionality that meets internal and external requirements.
- Strive to find new and innovative capabilities for the Woomera Test Range Mission System.
- Ability to work solo effectively when required.
- Solid drive for collaboration and teamwork.
- Build high-quality and reliable software solutions that’ll fill capabilities into the future.
- Travel to Woomera Test Range to support trial activities as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Masters degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in a software engineering role.
- Proficiency with Windows and Linux (Red Hat Enterprise Linux preferred).
- Virtualisation and containerisation technologies.
- Knowledge of Secure Development Practices.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., C#, C++, Python, Bash).
- Experience in Dev Ops, infrastructure-as-code, and system automation is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to work independently in complex, regulated environments.
