Job Title: Field Based Electrician
We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced electrician to join our team on an equal time roster.
About the Role:
This role is ideally suited for someone with experience troubleshooting automated equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of our rig fleet.
Key Responsibilities:
* Troubleshoot, maintain, and calibrate electrical and control systems including PLCs and hazardous area certified equipment.
* Perform preventative and reactive maintenance using CMMS.
* Install and test 3-phase AC motors and power generation equipment.
* Maintain communication systems and ensure compliance with Ventia's Isolation Standards and Permit to Work policies.
Requirements:
* Trade Certified and WA Licensed Electrician.
* EEHA experience highly regarded.
* Post-trade experience in heavy industrial environments, ideally Oil & Gas or Drilling.
* Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills under pressure.
* Ability in PLC systems and maintenance tracking software highly regarded.
* Valid Open Manual Driver's Licence.
* Willingness to travel and work in remote field locations.
