Mater Research are looking for a Research Coordinator to join the Respiratory, Infection and Oncology Clinical Trial Unit team! This permanent, full-time role will be based at our South Brisbane campus.
As the Research Coordinator, you will be supporting the end-to-end delivery of clinical trials focused on respiratory and infectious diseases within the Respiratory, Infection and Oncology Clinical Trial Unit, including study start-up, participant coordination, data management, and close-out. The role ensures all activities comply with study protocols, ethics and governance approvals, ICH GCP, and Australian regulatory requirements.
About you
* A relevant bachelor degree, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
* Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to guide junior staff.
* Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Research Nurses: minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience
* Coordinators: minimum 2 years of relevant clinical trials experience
* Strong understanding of clinical research protocols, regulatory frameworks, and ethical guidelines (e.g., GCP, TGA requirements).
* Ability to independently apply theoretical knowledge to solve problems and improve workflows.
* Experience coordinating research projects and managing clinical trial activities.
* Experience contributing to policy and process development for clinical research teams.
