Newcastle Anglican is seeking casual Laundry Assistants to work in our commercial laundry at Boolaroo. To succeed in this role, you will thrive in a fast paced environment and be available to work across 2 shifts between 6:00am – 2:00pm and 10:00am – 6:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain workflow to meet high volumes of laundry within timeframes
- Wash, dry, sort and fold linen and personal items to Newcastle Anglican standards
- Follow machine operation instructions and appropriate load types
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area and machines
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to achieve position goals
About You
- Work effectively as an individual and as part of a team
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions
- Hold a current Driver’s license
- A National police check (relevance of outcomes will be considered)
