Position: Regional Executive Officer – WA
Contract Type: 24-Month Contract, Part Time (0.6 FTE), with the possibility of a one year extension

Salary: $48,000 to $51,000 per annum + superannuation

As the Regional Executive Officer, you will play a crucial role in the regions business administration, member engagement and developing and coordinating the delivery of programs that contribute to the growth and success of our organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
As the Regional Executive Officer (WA) you will be responsible for:
Working with the National Executive Officer and other Regional Executive Officers to produce, promote, deliver and evaluate an annual calendar of financially viable training and professional development for your region and the National calendar of events.
Maintain strong proactive relationships with PLA members, sponsors and sector peak bodies in the region to support existing members and actively target new members. This will include follow-up with non-renewing and potential new corporate members, in partnership with National office.
Support Regional Council governance including organising and providing secretariat support for Council and subcommittee meetings and providing regular reporting on the region's activities especially as they contribute to National strategic plan.
Coordination of Regional operations including;
* managing all communication channels and being the initial contact point for all enquiries;
* coordination of regional finances including accounts payable, receivable and monthly transaction reports, with the support of the region President / Secretary and PLA National office;
* ensure compliance with all PLA policies and systems
Collaborative Support: Work closely with the Regional President, Council and PLA National team to actively contribute to a culture that values continuous improvement and collaboration.
Adaptable Role: Be open to undertaking additional duties aligned with your position, training, and experience, as reasonably required including supporting regional and National conferences as required.
Please note that the ability to travel inter-State is a requirement for this role.
Qualifications and Experience:
Demonstrated experience in the planning and organisation of professional development and training programs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with experience engaging directly with members and stakeholders.
Proven ability to collaborate with teams when delivering projects and working within dispersed teams.
Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
Demonstrated experience in business administration including managing a cost Centre and accounts payable and receivable.
Knowledge of the parks and leisure industry is highly advantageous.
A tertiary degree in a relevant business administration field or equivalent experience. (Desirable)
Working Hours:
The standard working hours for this role are 22.8 hours per week. Flexible working arrangements are available to accommodate individual preferences.
Remuneration:
Salary: $48,000 to $51,000 per annum
Superannuation: In addition to the salary
