At KIC, we're on a mission to redefine wellness by building a brand that helps people feel strong, confident, and connected without the noise of toxic diet culture.
We're looking for a Product Designer to join our team and help shape thoughtful, user‐centred digital product experiences. You'll work closely with Product, Engineering and other cross‐functional stakeholders to design intuitive, visually consistent and commercially effective solutions.
The Role
This role is ideal for a designer with around 3 years' experience who understands product design fundamentals and is looking to continue growing in a collaborative product environment.
You'll contribute to product initiatives from discovery through to delivery, helping translate customer and business needs into clear design solutions that improve usability, support business outcomes and create engaging digital experiences.
What You'll Be Doing
Product Design and Delivery
* Contribute to the design and delivery of digital product initiatives within a squad or cross‐functional team.
* Work with the Design Lead and Product team to understand problems, explore solutions and deliver product improvements.
* Translate customer needs, business requirements and product goals into user‐centred design outcomes.
* Create wireframes, user flows, mock‐ups and prototypes to communicate and test ideas.
* Participate in design critiques, planning sessions and team rituals to help improve design quality and collaboration.
* Support the team in maintaining focus on customer outcomes, usability and business goals.
User Research and Insights
* Assist in identifying gaps in customer understanding and support research activities.
* Help organise and conduct user interviews, usability testing and discovery activities.
* Use qualitative and quantitative insights to inform design decisions and iterate on solutions.
* Capture and share research findings with relevant stakeholders to support product decision‐making.
Visual and Interaction Design
* Design clear, functional and engaging interfaces aligned with brand and product standards.
* Apply strong visual design fundamentals, including layout, typography, hierarchy, consistency and accessibility.
* Create polished product experiences that balance customer needs with commercial objectives.
* Respond constructively to feedback and refine design work based on testing, stakeholder input and team collaboration.
Design Systems and Collaboration
* Work within established design systems, patterns and component libraries to create scalable and consistent experiences.
* Contribute to improving design components, documentation and reusable patterns.
* Understand when to use existing components and when to propose updates or new solutions.
* Collaborate closely with Engineering to support smooth design handoff and implementation.
About you
You're a thoughtful and collaborative Product Designer who enjoys solving problems, learning from users and creating well‐crafted digital experiences. You're comfortable working in a fast‐paced product environment and can balance user needs, business priorities and technical considerations.
* Approximately 3 years' experience in product design, UX/UI design or a similar digital product design role.
* Experience designing digital products, features or customer journeys within a cross‐functional team.
