Strategic Ministerial Correspondence Specialist
The role of Strategic Ministerial Correspondence Specialist involves providing high-quality ministerial correspondence and briefs, while also focusing on delivering timely responses, developing performance transparency reporting, and training teams in Plain English writing and best practice briefing notes.
This integral position requires a strong ability to problem-solve and partner effectively with teams to manage urgent and complex requests in a high-pressure environment. The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of managing ministerial correspondence and brief requests, experience working with Ministerial Offices and senior executive stakeholders, and advanced drafting and/or editorial skills.
In this challenging role, you will work within the Office of the Secretary and Ministerial Services Group, which oversees Treasury's ministerial and executive services, including Cabinet, Parliament, briefings, and correspondence. You will be part of a diverse and welcoming team that provides Departmental Liaison Officers and resourcing support to Ministerial Offices and offers advice to the Secretary and Treasury Executive Board to enhance organisational performance.
