As a Flight Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers during flights. Your warm and genuine inflight service will make a significant difference in our customers' travel experiences.
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as full time solo Flight Attendants based in Cairns. The ideal candidate will be:
* Independent and self-reliant: You will manage the entire cabin independently, ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers throughout the flight.
* Customer-focused: As a solo Flight Attendant, you will have the opportunity to provide a caring and personalized service to our passengers while traveling to unique destinations.
* Detail-oriented and safety-conscious: You will need to manage in-flight services while maintaining high standards of safety and compliance with aviation regulations.
This role offers a great work-life balance along with competitive remuneration and includes working on weekends, public holidays, shift work (which includes early starts & late finishes), and some nights spent away from home.
The successful candidate will perform various duties including equipment/security checks, in-flight announcements, in-flight food & beverage service, cleaning duties, and handling various situations that may occur in the cabin.

Key qualifications include:
* Be at least 18 years old
* Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
* Be no taller than 173 cm
* Hold a current Provide First Aid Certificate
* Hold a Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate - completed within the last 3 years
* Be able to demonstrate that you have:
* Completed a minimum 3 years of secondary education in Australia or New Zealand, or
* Worked in Australia or New Zealand for at least 3 of the last 5 years, or
* Worked in the UK, Ireland or USA for at least 3 of the last 5 years, or
* Completed the International English Language Testing System with an overall grade of 5.5.
* Be able to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card which involves a police security check
* Be passionate about your role and a commitment to delivering exceptional and consistent customer service
* Be able to swim fully clothed without aid or floating device
* Be flexible and adaptable; working hours will vary and include working during holiday times and peak periods
* Have a high level of personal presentation
* Have a natural willingness to please and care for people
Extensive training will be provided – flying experience is not required.
