Our client is a leading privately-owned organisation with an established presence across Australia and New Zealand is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Accountant on a temporary basis (with potential to go permanent). The main responsibilities of the role will include but are not limited to the following: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Maintain and review financial records for investment and NZ entities Oversee consolidations, IFRS compliance, and sustainability reporting Manage Australian and NZ tax compliance and support tax planning Support budgeting, reforecasting, and financial modelling Lead cash flow forecasting and treasury operations for managed clients Communicate financial data accurately and promptly to stakeholders Foster effective cross-functional relationships internally and externally Drive improvements in financial processes and reporting quality Assist with strategic initiatives, including acquisitions and investment analysis Support debt facility management, including compliance and hedge reporting Assist with investor distributions and related reporting The Candidate To be successful in this role you will be a confident, solutions-focused Senior Accountant who brings both technical expertise and commercial awareness. The ideal candidate is a CA or CPA-qualified accountant with experience in financial accounting advanced Excel skills and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset with clear communication, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
