Job Overview
We are seeking an accomplished Interior Designer to create bespoke commercial fit-outs that exceed client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop interior design concepts, layouts and detailed drawings for commercial projects.
* Prepare high-quality design presentations, material selections and 3D visualisations for client approval.
* Collaborate with project teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
* Liaise with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
* Ensure all design work complies with building codes and regulations.
* Review and adjust designs based on feedback from clients and internal teams.
* Assist in preparing documentation for council approvals and certifications where required.
* Workshop drawing preparation and program code for CNC operation.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Interior Design, Architecture or a related field.
* Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
* Strong proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit or similar tools.
* Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
* Solid understanding of construction processes, materials and commercial fit-out standards.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and coordinate with trades.
* Strong attention to detail, creativity and ability to work within deadlines.
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a project team.
