About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to manage client relationships, plan and deliver special events, and work closely with internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Venue sales, client management, and event planning for private and internal clients
* Collaboration with the Events team to ensure seamless delivery of events
* Client and stakeholder management, effective planning, time management, and multitasking in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
* Prior experience in hospitality/event management, event sales/client management, preferably in a complex heritage or cultural organisation or venue
* Exceptional client relationship and organisational skills, attention to detail, and commercial business acumen
* Knowledge of relevant safety, security, and Responsible Service of Alcohol controls, venue policies, and event management protocols
Additional Requirements:
* Negotiation and problem-solving skills to resolve issues efficiently
* Basic understanding of catering and technical requirements of events
* Experience with event management software
