Selection Criteria 1. Demonstrated experience supporting curriculum delivery in a secondary school context:
Proven ability to implement and support curriculum frameworks, enhance learning outcomes, and integrate digital platforms into the secondary school setting. Experience in collaborating with educators to enhance teaching practices and student engagement through technology.
2. Proven leadership across curriculum, wellbeing, ICT, operations, and digital engagement:
Strong leadership experience in driving initiatives across multiple areas, ensuring that curriculum delivery, student wellbeing, operational systems, and digital engagement are integrated seamlessly to improve overall school performance.
3. Strategic systems thinking with a hands-on execution approach:
Ability to think strategically about system integration and improvement while also being comfortable with hands-on involvement to ensure successful implementation and continuous refinement of systems and processes.
4. Experience in school-based project delivery and stakeholder management:
Demonstrated success in managing large-scale projects within a school context, including coordination with various stakeholders (internal teams, external partners), ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet all objectives.
5. Leadership disposition, adaptability, and alignment with the school's culture:
Exemplary leadership qualities, with the ability to adapt to changing needs, foster a positive and inclusive culture, and ensure that leadership practices align with the school s values of care, commitment, respect, and responsibility
Role Additonal attendance is required for this position, this will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Will usually be a member of the leadership team who is accountable for the development and delivery of key services that are integral to the effective operation of a school/s.Provides a range of services and/or undertakes the analysis of complex problems that form part of the policy framework.
An education support class position supports the educational services being provided to students, but must not include duties of teaching as defined in clause 2.6.1 of the Education and Training Reform Act 2006 (Vic) or its successor.Supervision of students cannot be required except where it is an integral part of the employee's position or involves supervision of students individually or in small groups, in controlled circumstances, where the responsibility for students remains clearly with a teacher.
Responsibilities
* Lead the implementation and integration of curriculum and assessment systems aligned with Victorian Curriculum 2.0 the VTLM 2.0
* Support the development of teaching and assessment frameworks, reporting structures, moderation processes, and subject selection platforms.
* Enhance the digital experience for teachers and students through tools such as Compass, Toddle, Office365, and Google Workspace.
Strategic Systems Architecture
* Design, implement and manage whole-school systems that connect operational data, people and processes across learning, wellbeing, communication, and compliance.
* Continually refine and improve digital workflows that enhance visibility, accuracy, and decision-making.
Facilities & Audio-Visual Coordination
* Lead the strategic use and coordination of school facilities and AV infrastructure for events, teaching and learning, and community engagement.
* Implement and support procedures for the use of Vivi, display panels, PA systems, and other audio-visual platforms.
* Collaborate with wellbeing, inclusion and sub-school teams to support student case management, referrals, documentation, and personalised planning.
* Develop systems to facilitate visibility of student progress and timely wellbeing intervention.
Operational Leadership Across School Services
* Oversee digital enrolment processes, reporting cycles, staff onboarding, risk management systems, and internal communications.
* Manage major school projects involving external vendors, internal systems, and multiple departments.
* Design and implement scalable systems that reduce staff workload, simplify complex processes, and build long-term operational resilience across all college functions.
Executive-Level Advisory & Stakeholder Engagement
* Collaborate as a trusted advisor to the Principal, Business Manager and Assistant Principals on strategic system trends, improvement opportunities and risk areas.
* Collaborate across leadership, teaching, administration and external stakeholders to lead transformational change.
* Build digital and operational capability across the school by leading training, producing accessible documentation, and embedding long-term workflows.

The successful applicant will demonstrate high-level proficiency in the use, administration and integration of systems including:
* Compass School Manager (all areas & functions of the platform)

* Experience working in a Victorian government school
* High-level operational knowledge and leadership experience with DET systems such as CASES21 (finance and enrolment modules), Edupass (SSO and access control), and risk and compliance registers (OHS, Emergency Management, Compliance Measures), with a strong understanding of the majority of school administrative processes
* Experience in management and a practical hand-on ability to provisioning workflows, device compliance management, and deep involvement in school-based notebook programs.
