2026 Vintage Winemaker – Yalumba & Oxford Landing Winery
2 positions - Nightshift
Based at either our Yalumba or Oxford Landing Winery, we are seeking a qualified and experienced Winemaker to oversee the quality processing of fruit and juice in both red and white cellars.
Working closely with the Cellar team, you will monitor and manage ferments, carry out additions, and address anomalies to ensure winemaking standards are consistently achieved.
This seasonal position will run from early January 2026 through to mid–late April, subject to seasonal conditions.
Key Responsibilities
Support senior winemakers during vintage, working collaboratively with cellar supervisors to deliver quality outcomes.
Ensure all winemaking standards, specifications, and quality parameters are met.
Liaise effectively with cellar and laboratory teams.
Monitor production processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
Recognise anomalous results and arrange rechecks as required.
Execute winemaker instructions in the cellar to a high standard and within deadlines.
Conduct fining trials as directed by senior winemakers.
About You
Proven experience across a range of winemaking tasks, strong time-management skills, and exceptional attention to detail.
A degree in Oenology, coupled with practical winemaking experience across multiple vintages, is preferred. You will also have solid computer and data-entry skills for winery record keeping, and the flexibility to work extended hours when required.
