Are you an organized and proactive team player who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment? Join our team as a Clinical Support Officer (CSO) and play a key role in keeping the Operating Theatres & PACU departments running smoothly. In this vital administrative position, you'll work closely with the Nursing Unit Manager, Admin Team and the broader health care team to ensure efficient coordination of patient care.
You'll have the opportunity to work both independently and collaboratively, using your initiative and problem-solving skills to support daily functions and deliver accurate, timely administrative services that make a real difference to staff and patients alike. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, processing and reporting are essential, as you'll be responsible for maintaining high-quality information that supports effective clinical and operational decision-making.
Responsibilities:
* Provide seamless administrative support to the Operating Theatre and PACU teams.
* Coordinate patient scheduling, documentation and resource allocation.
* Assist Nursing Unit Manager and Admin Team with data entry, reporting and compliance.
* Maintain accurate and timely information to support clinical and operational decision-making.
Qualifications:
o Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A role.
o Holding or willingness to undertake a Certificate III in Health Administration or equivalent.
