Senior project manager - regulatory, cloud & telco transformation
We're partnering with a major enterprise undergoing a large-scale transformation of their data, cloud and regulatory frameworks.
They're looking for a Senior Project Manager who thrives in complex environments and can deliver detailed, auditable outcomes that meet strict compliance requirements.
If you like turning ambiguous, multi-stream technology work into structured, risk-reduced, well-governed delivery programs, you'll fit right in.
This is a
12-month contract based in Macquarie Park
(3 days a week in the office).
What you'll be doing
Leading cloud and data migration projects across a large enterprise technology environment
Building solution-based, regulatory-aligned outcomes for internal and external customers
Creating detailed project artefacts - plans, risk logs, compliance checklists, dashboards and reporting that stand up to full audit scrutiny
Ensuring all project activity meets strict regulatory, compliance and risk-management standards
Working closely with engineering, architecture and operations teams to deliver safe, stable, customer-focused solutions
Driving risk reduction across systems, processes and customer-impact areas
Managing complex delivery across multiple business units in a fast-moving telco environment
Overseeing vendor teams and ensuring solution integrity, traceability and strong governance
Translating technical concepts into clear actions, decisions and approvals for senior stakeholders
What makes you a great fit
Solid background as a Senior Project Manager delivering complex IT, cloud or data initiatives
Telecommunications experience - ideally with an understanding of how devices, networks and provisioning systems work
Detail-driven and disciplined - your documentation, reporting and controls are tidy, traceable and always audit-ready
Proven ability to reduce risk and deliver compliant outcomes
Experience with cloud migration, SaaS transitions or large-scale modernisation programs
Ability to interpret and navigate regulatory requirements and build compliant solutions
Skilled communicator who can work confidently with technical teams and senior leaders
Strong governance mindset - you focus on doing things properly, not just quickly
Comfortable working in environments with ambiguity, shifting priorities and multiple stakeholders
Qualifications like PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe or Agile certification are highly regarded
