About The Opportunity
The Estimator will play a crucial role in preparing accurate and high-quality estimates for both residential and commercial building projects. Your responsibilities will include:
* Prepare detailed estimates for quotes, variations, reports, and settlements.
* Review project documents to ensure compliance and cost-effectiveness.
* Liaise with clients, builders, subcontractors, and suppliers for accurate pricing.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of construction methods, materials, and cost trends.
* Manage competing priorities, improve estimating processes, and deliver on time.
* Collaborate across teams and represent our client professionally.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
* 2–3 years' estimating experience in construction with strong technical knowledge.
* Skilled in estimating software, detail-oriented, & able to work under pressure.
* Strong communication & stakeholder management skills.
* Proactive, solutions-focused, & team-oriented attitude.
* Desirable: insurance estimating experience & knowledge of QBCC/HBCF.
* Desirable: degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
