We have multiple roles for talented Heavy Earthmoving and Heavy Vehicle Fitters to join our ZD team in beautiful Cairns.
This role offers loads of variety as you will be out on-site locally doing diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of a diverse range of heavy machinery and/or on-highway vehicles.

What will you be doing:
* Diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, transmissions, and drivelines
* Performing preventative maintenance and inspections
* Utilising diagnostic equipment to identify and rectify faults
* Welding and fabricating components as required
* Ensuring that all safety guidelines and quality standards are met
* Using in-house computer programs to manage jobs
Our ideal candidate:
* Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
* Previous experience in providing maintenance and repairs to various heavy fleet
* HR license (essential)
* Forklift license (advantageous)
* Ability to work independently on a range of heavy equipment and vehicles
* Own basic tools specific to trade
* Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug screen
