Court Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the performance of the judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunal, Judicial College and Judicial Commission.
Collectively, Victoria's Supreme, County, Magistrates', Children's, and Coroners courts, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT), the Judicial College of Victoria, the Judicial Commission of Victoria, and Court Services Victoria (CSV) are referred to as the ‘Courts Group'.

About the Role
Offered on an ongoing, flexible basis, Court Services Victoria (CSV) are looking for proactive and dynamic Strategic People Partners to join our People Services function. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR generalist looking to drive strategic HR initiatives, build leadership capability, and foster an inclusive, high-performing workplace. You will be joining a supportive and inclusive People Partnering team of high calibre HR professionals that value innovation and work collaboratively to share ideas and resources.
As the Strategic People Partner, you will deliver business-driven solutions across the entire employee lifecycle, providing expert advice to executives and managers in relation to organisational development, workforce planning, change management, leadership development, and employee engagement. As the HR lead within your designated portfolio, you will be the strategic HR advisor to the CEO of your jurisdiction and act as a trusted partner and advisor to the executive team. You will enjoy building relationships with a client group that actively seeks your advice and welcomes your collaboration and guidance in setting the strategic people agenda. You will be supported by subject matter experts across the People Services function who work collaboratively with you to align people programs and initiatives with organisational priorities. You will also have the opportunity to draw on your expertise to design and tailor projects that align to the specific needs of your client portfolio.
The Strategic People Partner offers the opportunity to lead people strategies while also overseeing operational HR functions with the support of at least one direct report. You will coach and mentor a People Partner who takes carriage of operational HR matters within the client portfolio, including employee relations matters, performance management, talent acquisition planning, and health, safety and wellbeing initiatives. You will oversee this work and provide day to day coaching and development to support their growth as a People Partner.

Duties
* Partner with the executive team to align people strategies and programs with organisational goals and drive a high-performance culture.
* Build trusted relationships with the jurisdiction CEO, executive team and judiciary using your influencing and coaching skills to build leadership capability and enhance employee engagement.
* Set the people agenda for your client portfolio and lead the implementation and delivery of people strategies and programs across the employee lifecycle.
* Collaborate across the CSV People Services team to contribute to the design and development of people strategies, programs and policies to align with the needs of clients.
* Proactively draw on data and evidence from a range of sources to identify trends, monitor and evaluate key programs, and provide insights that inform executive decision-making.
