The Early Childhood Manager role
Lead early childhood services that make a real difference for children, families, and remote Indigenous communities in West Arnhem. As our Early Childhood Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic and operational leadership for the Jabiru Child Care Centre, Minjilang Creche, and Warruwi Creche in line with the National Quality Framework, the Early Years Learning Framework, and WHS requirements.
Lead the strategic planning, development, delivery, quality assurance, and evaluation of culturally responsive early childhood educational programs and practices. Drive continuous improvement, mentor and develop your team, and ensure educational programs are high‐quality, safe, and culturally respectful. This role is ideal for an experienced early childhood leader seeking to apply their skills in a hands‐on, community‐focused position in the Top End.
About you
Significant experience (between 3–5 years) in a senior early childhood education and care leadership role (e.g. Centre Director, Assistant Director, or equivalent) with responsibility for staff, budget, and regulatory compliance.
Diploma of Early Childhood Education (or higher equivalent), current First Aid plus Anaphylaxis and Asthma emergency training.
You are a collaborative, culturally responsive leader who is excited by remote work, open to learning, and ready to champion high‐quality, play‐based learning in a unique setting.
Exceptional benefits
Total remuneration package of $132,318 - $150,739 (including salary $116,049 – 132,205), plus 12% superannuation and 17.5% leave loading.
