Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian Citizen with active security clearance.
We're seeking a skilled Oracle Database Administrator to support the establishment and ongoing management of infrastructure managed services for the client.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in gathering and reviewing information related to the implementation and operation of the client's existing Oracle database environments.
• Participate in workshops to understand existing Oracle platforms and prepare for database operations transition.
• Contribute to the creation of key database operations documentation (e.g., System Understanding Documents, Standard Operating Procedures).
• Support the team in ensuring readiness for database operations go-live in line with the service establishment plan and schedule.
• Ongoing Database Administration & Operations
• Perform routine Oracle DBA tasks
Required Skills:
• 5-6 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration, both on-premises and in public cloud (preferably Oracle Cloud or AWS RDS for Oracle)
• Strong understanding of database security, performance tuning, and optimization
• Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) and ITIL frameworks
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with experience in performance tuning and query optimization
• Scripting and Automation for database management task is a plus
• Holds ITIL v4 certification or willing to obtain within 8 weeks of starting the role
