About the Role
We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Administration Officer. This is a key role that requires exceptional administrative skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Director of Public Prosecutions, coordinating court proceedings, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
* Attend Supreme Courts and courts of summary jurisdiction at various locations in the state and assist in the effective presentation of criminal prosecutions.
* Coordinate the briefing of witnesses, their attendance at court, and organize the availability of exhibits in court in support of criminal prosecutions.
* Compile, vet, and file documents such as indictments, notices, Crown Papers, and arrange service on defence counsel and defendant.
* Undertake a wide range of clerical and administrative duties to support the efficient and effective delivery of services by the Director of Public Prosecutions, including opening and closing files, archiving files, coordinating video links, assisting witnesses to complete witness expenses claims, and binding documents.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* A Certificate III or IV in Business Administration or Business (Legal Services).
* A current Driver's Licence.
