The award winning Reef House Adults Retreat Day Spa has an opportunity for a Fulltime Massage Therapist. Completing a wide range of experiences including facials, massages and body treatments. Our guest experience is second to none as we strive to meet our clients' expectations. We are an exclusive spa located within the Reef House Adults Retreat in Palm Cove, FNQ. Our stunning treatments are designed for intense relaxation, rejuvenation and general well-being using the leading French marine products from PHYTOMER and the botanical range from WATERLILLY.
Job tasks and responsibilities
Must be reliable & responsible, and be able to assist with administration and make treatment recommendations. Well spoken with immaculate grooming and a willingness to engage with an discerning clientele
Duties:
* Open and close spa, complete daily tracker and sales reconciliation
* 7 day a week roster
* Assist other therapists in room set-up, client check outs and maintaining cleanliness and neatness at all times
* Work in a team environment, and recommend related retail sales
Skills and experience
* Skilled in facial and massage techniques along with experience in body treatment including Vichy shower, understanding of lymphatic drainage
* Perform all beauty therapy treatments with enthusiasm and care, creating a memorable experience for our guests
* Follow treatment protocols, participate in regular training and embrace new techniques.
* Work in a team environment, and recommend related retail sales
* Maintain spa and treatment room cleanliness at all times. We are a COVID-safe workplace.
* Must have at least 2 years previous experience in a similar role
* Diploma of Massage
