About the Role
We are seeking an experienced
Iress Acurity Architect
for one of our leading technology clients in Australia. This is a senior, strategic role responsible for defining the
end-to-end architecture, design standards, and technical roadmap
for superannuation solutions built on the Iress Acurity platform.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams, and senior IT leadership to ensure scalable, compliant, and future-ready superannuation systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Own the
solution architecture
for all Iress Acurity implementations and enhancements.
* Define
technical standards, design patterns, and best practices
across Acurity platforms.
* Lead system design for complex superannuation solutions, integrations, and data flows.
* Provide architectural oversight for
customisation, upgrades, migrations, and integrations
.
* Ensure alignment with
Australian superannuation regulations
, compliance standards, and security frameworks.
* Review solution designs, code quality, performance, scalability, and security.
* Work with business, product, and delivery teams to translate requirements into robust architecture.
* Guide developers and support teams on design decisions, troubleshooting, and optimisation strategies.
* Identify risks, performance bottlenecks, and architectural gaps and drive long-term improvements.
* Maintain architecture documentation, roadmaps, and technical governance artifacts.
Required Skills & Experience
* 8+ years
experience working with the
Iress Acurity
platform, including architecture, design, and large-scale implementations.
* Strong expertise in
superannuation systems
, regulatory frameworks, and financial services environments.
* Proven experience designing
enterprise-grade architectures
and integration frameworks.
* Strong understanding of
solution architecture, system integration, data architecture, and security principles
.
* Hands-on experience with
.NET, Java, Python, or C++
(to review and guide development).
* Experience with
APIs, middleware, batch processing, and data migration
in financial systems.
* Strong stakeholder management and ability to communicate complex technical designs to non-technical audiences.
* Excellent analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
