The Role
Due to business growth a new opportunity has become available at our Head Office for a full time Payroll Officer.
Alongside other payroll staff, this role delivers on accurate and compliant fortnightly payroll processes, administers workers compensation / payroll tax / superannuation payments, and undertakes regular reconciliation reporting. Payroll covers over 500 permanent and casual staff across 3 growing businesses.
You need exceptional attention to detail and to take pride in a 'right first time' approach. A strong customer focus and the ability to communicate at all levels of the business are integral. Success requires the incumbent to initiate communication to effectively resolve queries as they arise.
Access to confidential information demands a professional, discreet individual.
Duties
* Conduct fortnightly payroll
* Deliver accurate and compliant calculations for workers compensation, payroll tax and superannuation
* Supply balance sheet and monthly reconciliations
* Operate within strict deadlines
* Experience using HR3 and MYOB EXO software is desirable.
Skills
* High level data entry skills, numeracy and attention to detail
* Engage and build relationships with all staff across the organisation
* Prioritise workload to ensure strict timeframes are met
* Solid Excel skills to manage data and create clear reports
* Ability to analyse documentation to ensure alignment with guidelines
