As a Business Development Manager, you’ll take on a senior leadership role driving national growth and positioning the business as a leader in emergency compliance solutions. Reporting to the CEO, you’ll lead strategy across sectors like healthcare, aged care, education, and property - securing new business while helping clients prepare for and respond to critical events.
The Role:
* Join the senior leadership team and report directly to the CEO
* Lead the national business development strategy across traditional and emerging sectors
* Generate and manage a pipeline of 100+ qualified leads per month
* Own and manage proposal strategy, submissions, and client presentations
* Collaborate with internal teams on product development and market positioning
* Represent the business at high-level industry events and national meetings
* Deliver tailored solutions to clients across healthcare, aged care, education, and property sectors
* Use CRM tools to manage sales pipelines and forecasting with high data accuracy

About You:
* 5+ years in B2B sales, business development, or strategic partnerships
* Proven ability to close high-value, long-cycle deals in compliance, emergency services, or training
* Strong commercial acumen and proposal writing expertise
* Experience working nationally and representing businesses at industry events
* Comfortable managing bids, complex negotiations, and solution-based selling
* Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and CRM skills
* Strategic thinker who thrives in dynamic environments and values continuous improvement
