About the role
The purpose of the role is to lead the activities of the General Fisheries Section to develop and implement marine resource management plans and provide fisheries policy and strategy advice to the Manager, Wild Fisheries and General Manager (Marine Resources) for the sustainable management of marine resources adjacent to Tasmania.

Hours per fortnight

Essential requirements
A Degree in Biological Sciences, Natural Resource Management, or equivalent tertiary qualification, relevant to the professional duties to be undertaken, as provided by a university.
Desirable requirements
Five years' experience involving fisheries management, or assessment or equivalent experience.
A current motor vehicle drivers' licence.
AIIMS or other response training.
