What you'll do
As the Market Development Representative (MDR), you will partner closely with Account Executives to support, research, and prospect to secure a flow of qualified opportunities influencing the sales pipeline. You will be responsible for daily activity metrics of 50 to 75 calls, along with monthly and quarterly quotas. You will receive hands-on training focused on strategic selling and researching targeted accounts. This role offers in-depth experience in a rapidly growing SaaS company.
Responsibilities
* Support sales team members with qualified opportunities.
* Build strong relationships across Sales and Marketing teams.
* Collaborate with sales to penetrate targeted accounts strategically.
* Develop best practices to manage inbound interest and follow-up.
* Use Salesforce to research accounts, identify contacts, and connect with prospects.
Job Designation
Hybrid: The role involves both in-office and remote work, with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office. The specific frequency may vary by team, but weekly in-office presence is expected.
What you bring
Basic
* BA/BS degree or equivalent sales-related experience.
* At least 1 year of experience in a client-facing or customer-facing role.
Preferred
* Inside sales experience.
* Experience in qualifying prospects.
* CRM and Salesforce experience.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Experience with quotas and metrics.
* Strong time management and organizational skills.
* Motivation, drive, and self-starting attitude.
* Familiarity with Google Suite.
