About the Role
The Employment Activities Coordinator plays a key role in supporting jobseekers to build skills and confidence through meaningful engagement in Work for the Dole (WfD) programs.
This role supports the delivery of Ironbark’s Workforce Australia program and involves coordinating host organisation partnerships, overseeing compliance with program requirements, and ensuring jobseekers are actively and appropriately engaged in activities that prepare them for employment.
We are looking for an applicant who has:
• Experience in job placement, recruitment, or employer engagement roles.
• Understanding of job matching principles and pre-employment preparation.
• Ability to meet targets and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated high level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and administration skills.
• Knowledge of or willingness to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in culturally appropriate ways.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate effectively and respectfully, and maintain professional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and at all levels of diversity.
