A leading food distributor is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to drive revenue growth and expand our client base.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for the food industry, excellent selling skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with customers.
This role will cover Melbourne and the surrounding areas, and you will be responsible for driving sales growth through cold calling and securing new customers, maintaining weekly/monthly call cycles to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded, growing existing customer bases, providing exceptional product knowledge, and delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive sales growth by cold calling and securing new customers in your territory on a weekly basis
* Maintain weekly/monthly call cycle to ensure current customer expectations are achieved or exceeded
* Grow existing customer base in your territory
* Provide exceptional product knowledge of a large range of products
* Deliver outstanding service for customers
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
At least 3 years working in the food industry
Extensive knowledge of restaurants, cafes, and deli's within Victoria
Superior selling and negotiating skills
Ability to cold call and close sales with new customers
Experience in developing and maintaining relationships with customers
Self-motivated and the ability to work autonomously
Proficient in learning a large product range quickly
Good organisational and time management skills
Proficient in the use of sales-related software and tools
Full driver's license
