Job Description

Delivering a 5-star experience every step of the way.

We’re looking for a confident and guest-focused Assistant Manager to join our Front Office team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced professional ready to step into a leadership role and take ownership of the guest experience on shift.

In this role, you’ll support the day-to-day operations of Front Office while acting as the key point of contact for guests and the team. You’ll lead from the front, ensuring smooth arrivals and departures, supporting your team during busy periods and handling any guest concerns with professionalism and care.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support the daily operation of the Front Office department
* Lead and support the team on shift to deliver a high standard of service
* Be the main point of contact for guest queries, feedback and escalations
* Ensure a smooth and welcoming arrival and departure experience for all guests
* Assist with training and development of Front Office team members
* Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless hotel operations
* Monitor service standards and ensure they are consistently met
* Assist with rostering and general operational tasks
Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about guest service and ready to step up into a leadership role within a premium hotel environment.

What We’re Looking For

* Previous experience in a Front Office Supervisor or Duty Manager role
* A genuine passion for delivering great guest experiences
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with guests and colleagues
* Confidence in handling guest concerns and making decisions on shift
* Experience with Opera Cloud PMS is highly regarded
* A hands-on, team-focused approach
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Availability to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays
