The Technical Sales Representative will be responsible for managing activities through current and target Powder Coating accounts, including Fabricators & Applicators in relation to residential and commercial applications. This role focuses on using sales strategies, product knowledge, and communication skills to help customers and prospects use the company’s products to the fullest advantage.Key Responsibilities: • Sales Strategies: Develop and implement sales strategies, reporting to the Senior State Sales Manager, to grow market share and meet sales targets. • Meet Budget: Achieve sales volume, value, and gross margin goals for the assigned territory, aiming for enhanced profitability. • Sales Development: Maintain relationships within the State and Regional powder coating markets to maximize new sales opportunities. • Business Development: Manage current and potential Powder Coatings key accounts, including Fabricators & Applicators, adhering to AkzoNobel sales policies, to drive sustained profit and business growth. • Market Intelligence: Gather market intelligence to identify Powder Coatings opportunities in the State, aligning with AkzoNobel Business Principles to expand customer base and market share. • Customer Satisfaction: Develop and implement key client strategies for commercial customers, ensuring customer relationships are satisfactorily managed and growth opportunities are identified. • OH&S & 5S: Ensure Health, Safety, Environment, and 5S targets and objectives are met in full, providing a safe working environment.What We Are Looking For: • Minimum of 5-7 years’ industry experience in the coatings industry, with technical sales preferred. • Thorough knowledge of company products, systems, and application techniques. • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities. • Excellent time and territory management skills. • Self-motivated and driven individual with a proactive approach to achieving goals. • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team. • Willingness to undertake regular regional travel. • Must have a current driver's license.In Return, What We Can Offer: • Career Pathway and Training: We're a global company committed to helping you achieve your career goals.
