Billanook College seeks applications for the position of College Nurse from Senior Registered Nurses. This is a part-time, ongoing role (0.85 - 0.89 over five days a week), that will provide primary nursing care across the College, is responsible for related administrative duties as well as managing the Wellness Centre of the College.
Responsibilities include:
* Providing support for teaching Staff in areas of curriculum, pastoral care, health regulations and particular conditions as these relate to students.
* Participation and attendance at school community days for the provision of nursing care.
* Ensuring all legislative reporting requirements are met.
* Providing Occupational Health and Safety advice to Staff and students.
About You: You are a Senior Registered Nurse who enjoys a busy day. You have the ability to work autonomously and alongside others. You have previous experience and knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety requirements and are also across reporting requirements for illness and injury.
Billanook College is an independent, co-educational Early Learning to Year 12 school situated in the outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne. The School has an enrolment of approx 950 students, supported by 160 staff.
