About the Role
As a key member of our Catering team, the Chef Manager is responsible for delivering exceptional catering services to clients every day. This role provides significant independence and scope, overseeing food service standards, presentation and ensuring compliance with legislation and best practices. Working in close collaboration with senior management, the Chef Manager ensures smooth and efficient catering operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee catering operations at Elcho Island maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
* Ensure safe use of all kitchen meal distribution equipment with strict attention to hygiene.
* Develop implement maintain a comprehensive food safety hygiene plan including staff training to meet accreditation standards.
