Job Description
The Role
We'relooking for a passionate and driven Community Engagement &StakeholderSpecialist to join our growing team at Potentia Energy (based in either Sydney or Melbourne). In this role, you will lead localstakeholderand communityengagementacross a diverse portfolio of renewable energy projects,from earlydevelopment throughto operations. Our projectsinclude BESS, wind, solar and hybrid technologies throughout Australia.
You will also play a key role in ensuring our projects create meaningful,longtermvalue for communities and the environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Development and implementation of stakeholder and community engagementstrategies, plans and activities acrossPotentia Energy'srenewable energy projects.
* Development and implementation of community benefit sharing projects and initiatives thatmaximisethe local benefits (social,economicand environmental) ofPotentia Energy'srenewable energy projects, tailored to the local context for each project.
* Data collection,analysis and reporting of sustainability performance of renewable energy projects (across development,constructionand operational phases).
* Track stakeholder interactions and sentimentthroughBorealis, thestakeholder management system to supportinformedengagement strategies.
* Apply best practice community engagement approaches relevant to each community to build and maintain Potentia Energy's social license to operate.
Selection Criteria
* Full (unrestricted) cardriver's license.
* Tertiary qualifications(Bachelor level) or certificate or relevant experiencein community engagement, communications or other relevantarea.
* EngagementInstitutecertification(formally IAP2)
* 4-5years working in stakeholder and community engagement relatedrole.
* Strong relationship management skills
* Outstanding teamwork and ability to work collaboratively across multiple disciplines and functions.
* Attention to detail and willingness to learn andoperateindependently.
* Proactive and enthusiastic nature.
* Experience in the renewable energy sector shall be highly regarded.
* Competentin Microsoft Office Suite.
* This role will require you to travel interstate and to regional areas from time to time, to engage with key project stakeholders.
