From times of personal crisis to moments of national grief, we are always here — providing support, safety, community, and opportunity.**# **About the Role**The Southwest Metro Salvos Hub is seeking an organised, friendly and proactive Administration Assistant to support the smooth running of both the Rockingham and Kwinana Corps.This newly created permanent part-time position strengthens administrative, operational and volunteer support across the Hub. Working three days per week across both locations, you'll be a trusted point of support for staff, volunteers and visitors, contributing to a welcoming, well-organised and community-focused environment.# **How You Will Make an Impact*** Provide day-to-day administrative support to Corps Officers and staff, including reception, email management and general enquiries* Assist with financial processes such as counting and banking weekly collections, invoicing, bill payments and maintaining accurate registers* Coordinate room bookings, site logistics and support the planning of events and activities* Support volunteer enquiries, information sessions and onboarding processes via Workday* Maintain volunteer records, monitor compliance requirements and liaise with schools, businesses and community partners regarding placements* Complete quarterly WHS inspections and the annual WHS audit, escalating issues as required* Contribute positively to a collaborative, community-focused team environment# **What You Will Bring*** Strong administration experience and confidence using financial and office systems* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contemporary office procedures* Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional approach* Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills* Ability to work independently across multiple sites and manage competing priorities* Experience supporting volunteers (desired)* Certificate IV in Administration or Business (desired)* Commitment to The Salvation Army's mission and values* Current WA Driver's Licence# **What We Offer*** Generous Paid Parental leave for primary (12 weeks) & secondary carers* Purchased Leave Scheme (up to 8 weeks) and 5 days paid leave per year to experience working in other TSA programs or activities* Flexible working arrangements* Access to EAP and health & wellness initiatives including Fitness Passport* Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander supports such as: Burra Burra Network (pastoral care network), Cultural Events, Sorry Business and Ceremonial Leave (up to 10 days)* Ongoing training and development opportunities that enhance on-the-job skills and proficiency* Rewarding and fulfilling purpose-driven careers that have positive and sustainable social impacts# **How to Apply**If you're an organised, people-focused administrator who enjoys supporting community-based work across two locations, we'd love to hear from you.
