Job Title: Maintenance Operations Manager
A Maintenance Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of a care home environment, making sure residents feel at home and staff can perform their jobs efficiently. This involves creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere as part of our commitment to delivering exceptional care and support.
This role offers a diverse range of tasks within the care home building, gardens, and grounds. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently, leading a team, and supporting the General Manager with annual budget planning. They will also need to liaise with external contractors on tasks that require specialized expertise.
* Main Responsibilities:
* Fixing leaks and maintaining equipment
* Painting walls and decorating rooms
* Tending to the gardens and grounds
* Managing maintenance teams
About You:
The wellbeing of our residents is paramount. As a Maintenance Operations Manager, you will prioritize their needs and ensure all work is carried out sensitively. You should have hands-on experience in property maintenance, possess at least one trade skill, and preferably be able to undertake a wide range of maintenance tasks. Reliability, flexibility, and a full UK driving license are essential. IT literacy and GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent) are also required.
