The role of a Fund Accountant is to provide accurate and timely financial information to stakeholders. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Financial Reporting: Deliver month-end management accounts and consolidated fund reporting on time and in accordance with regulatory requirements.
* Analysis and Advisory: Analyse property accounting prepared by external managers and provide technical accounting and tax advisory for real estate transactions.
* Quarterly and Annual Reports: Prepare quarterly unit price reports and annual statutory reports to meet compliance and regulatory needs.
* Compliance and Administration: Assist with compliance, debt management, and investment administration tasks as required.
Requirements
* Professional Qualification: Possess a professional accounting qualification (CA or CPA) with 2+ years of experience.
* Accounting Experience: Have at least 4+ years of accounting experience with a focus on financial analysis and reporting.
* Skills and Abilities: Be an effective team player with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in large accounting systems and MS Excel.
