Tradewind Australia is partnering with a well-established, multidisciplinary allied health practice in Melbourne's west to recruit a Behaviour Support Practitioner.

About the Role
As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will work with children, young people and/or adults with disability who present with behaviours of concern. You'll deliver person‐centred, trauma‐informed support, working closely with families, carers and stakeholders to improve quality of life and reduce restrictive practices. This is a highly autonomous role with strong clinical support, ideal for someone who enjoys flexibility, meaningful work, and being part of a collaborative team.
Pay: $85,000 - $110,000 + super (experience-based) Location: North Strathfield, NSW Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities
* Conduct functional behaviour assessments (FBA)
* Develop and implement Behaviour Support Plans in line with NDIS requirements
* Deliver evidence‐based interventions and strategies
* Work collaboratively with families, carers and multidisciplinary teams
* Provide training and education to stakeholders
* Ensure compliance with NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission guidelines
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation
What You'll Bring
* Experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner within the NDIS
* Registration as a CORE or Proficient Practitioner under the NDIS Commission
* Relevant qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy or similar
* Strong understanding of positive behaviour support and restrictive practice frameworks
