**About the business and the role**
Our client is an Australian owned company which specialises in the design, manufacture and sales of electronic products, software and services for the automotive, bus, rail infrastructure and mining industries with both National and Export sales.
**Job tasks and responsibilities**
Your role will be to focus on achieving new sales while servicing existing customers with qualified Technical Engineering Sales and Service within the Mining and Rail industries. You will be required help build and focus our client departments and further increase market penetration and create growth opportunities.
**Desired Skills and Experience**
- Demonstrable ability to build & identify new business
- Able to build a strong rapport at all customer levels.
- Previous experience working in the Rail or Mining Industry (desirable)
- Able to work on Rail and Mining machinery (highly desirable)
- Support an existing client base in the rail and mining sectors
- Business development for new opportunities with existing and potentially new clients
- Gather specific information for engineered design and project related work
- A willingness to learn about all the products and services
- Excellent presentation & communication skills
- The ability to plan ahead & manage company call documentation and follow up.
- Be able to meet the company's sales & profit budgets
- Work as a team to achieve revenue objectives.
- Computer literacy, Word, Excel etc
