Job Title: Mental Health Professional
Overview
This role is focused on providing comprehensive mental health services to individuals in a community-based setting. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide focused psychological strategies tailored to meet the individual needs of clients.
You will work closely with consumers, families/carers and extended agencies to plan and coordinate individualised psychosocial interventions. This may involve working across health service networks to ensure seamless care planning and delivery.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of public, non-government and private mental health systems and programs, as well as experience in providing alcohol and other drugs (AOD) counselling and support.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive assessment, brief and ongoing interventions, risk management and care planning
* Work collaboratively across health service networks to plan and coordinate individualised psychosocial interventions
* Develop and maintain effective relationships with consumers, families/carers and extended agencies
Requirements
* Must have one of the following: General AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Mental Health Occupational Therapist OR Mental Health Nurse OR AASW registration as an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker
* Demonstrated knowledge, expertise and skill in Brief Intervention Models of Care
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment and develop strong relationships with consumers, families/carers and extended agencies
* Strong organisational and time-management skills, including the ability to work under pressure and balance multiple tasks
* Excellent verbal communication and writing skills
