We are seeking experienced Senior Designers to join our expanding team of Balanced Machines specialists.
In this role, you will work across the full project lifecycle including design, execution, and final completion on some of the most innovative mining machine projects in the industry.

Review the project scope and Technical Brief, applying the design criteria and methodologies outlined for the project.
Prepare, review, and mark up 3D models and drawings with due consideration for safety, operability, simplicity, and cost minimisation.
Identify project scope or design changes, or other issues that could adversely affect project cost or schedule.
Ensure project documents, data, and information are correctly sourced, reviewed, managed, and readily available.
Assist in the preparation of proposals as required.
Contribute to the development of systems and procedures to improve engineering design methods.
About You To be successful in the role you will possess the following: Tertiary qualifications in Structural, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering 5+ years of design or engineering experience in a relevant industry Exposure to bulk material handling machines such as stackers, reclaimers, or shiploaders (preferred) Proficient knowledge of PTC Creo (essential) Ability to coach and train less experienced personnel in technical matters Good knowledge of the company's engineering tools and ability to create deliverables using these tools Ability to design integrated systems
