Join Redox as a Graduate Chemical Engineer to support manufacturing projects and operations in a leading raw material distributor.
Your Role
Here's what you will be doing:
* Collaborate with and be mentored by the Manufacturing Manager on engineering projects and production support.
* Assist in creating, implementing, reviewing, and supervising project timelines.
* Research, analyse, develop, and optimise designs of process equipment, including costing for implementation and maintenance.
* Develop process flow diagrams, P&IDs, and equipment specifications.
* Gather and analyse data on safety, environment, and economic criteria for reporting and decision-making.
* Provide day-to-day technical support to manufacturing operations, including problem solving and sourcing equipment and services.
* Create and review safe operating instructions, bills of materials, method of work, costings, and waste management procedures.
* Facilitate the manufacture of new chemical products.
* Work primarily at the Minto head office with some duties at Girraween and Wetherill Park manufacturing sites.
About You
The company is looking for:
* Recent graduate with a degree in Chemical or Process Engineering.
* Strong knowledge of chemistry, fluid flow, and chemical processing technologies.
* Creative problem solver with critical thinking skills.
* Effective communicator able to engage with management, manufacturing staff, and suppliers.
* Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage a busy schedule.
* Prior experience or internship in project or process engineering is highly regarded.
* Valid driver's license, own transport, and preferably residing within reasonable driving distance to Minto, Girraween, and Wetherill Park, NSW.
