Assistant Venue Manager Job Description:
This role involves managing staff, including duty managers, bar staff, and security personnel, to ensure a smooth and efficient service. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in managing bars and restaurants, as well as stock control and inventory management.
The Assistant Venue Manager will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock control and inventory management, ensuring compliance with liquor licensing laws and company policies, and providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a positive work environment.
* Previous management experience in the hospitality industry is highly desirable.
* Approved Manager qualification is essential.
* The ability to train staff and lead by example is critical to success in this role.
* Proficiency in computer software, particularly POS systems and Eftpos, is necessary.
* Experience in setting up events with food and drink service is highly valued.
* A strong understanding of liquor licensing laws and company policies is essential.
