We operate Monday to Friday during normal business hours across four sites, being Hobart, Rosny, Kingston and Glenorchy.

About the role
Hobart Eye Surgeons is seeking a motivated and quick learning enrolled nurse to join their team in either a full-time or part-time clinical role.
Clinical duties will include:
* Being positive, attentive, friendly, sympathetic and helpful to patients at all times.
* Conducting clinical assessments of patients on arrival.
* Screening of visual acuity, intraocular pressures and dilation for patients as required.
* Cannulation for fluorescein angiography.
* Preparation of local anaesthetic and other drugs.
* Preparation of equipment in procedure rooms.
* Setting up, cleaning and maintenance of instruments and equipment.
* Monitoring patients between and during procedures.
* Maintaining emergency equipment and drugs.
* Assisting surgeons with minor surgical procedures.
* Performing various diagnostic tests, including A-scans, OCT's, retinal photography, visual field tests, pachymetry, tonography, corneal mapping, and refractions.
No experience in ophthalmology is required and all training will be provided, however any relevant experience will be highly valued.
