Nyman Gibson Miralis is a specialist criminal law firm in NSW with a vibrant and supportive team. We currently seek to employ a highly motivated and experienced legal secretary to provide secretarial and administration support to the team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced legal secretary looking to take the next step in their career, ready to upskill and take on more responsibilities.
Duties:
* Answering calls, liaising with clients, courts and barristers
* Preparing legal correspondence, briefs and documents
* Opening files, billing, time sheet entry, and filing
* Diary management
* Assist with organising events, CLE, travel, staff inductions and ad hoc duties
Skills and Experience:
* A minimum of 12 month's experience in Criminal Law
* Ability to multi-task and have exceptional attention to detail
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Outlook and Word
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional manner
* Ability to work within a team and with Senior Management
* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
* Experience with LexisNexis Affinity is highly desirable
* A proactive approach and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
