The Position
* Prepare fresh, nutritious meals for students
* Work with a small and supportive team
* Contribute to menu ideas using local ingredients
* Monitor stock and minimize wastage
* Adhere to hygiene standards and following proper food handling practices
* Work largely within school hours, school term time and spend time where it counts - with family
The Person
* Working with Children Check is essential, or ability to obtain
* Experience with cooking in bulk quantities
* Superior knife handling skill
* Strong understanding of allergen management and food safety
* Experience in a similar position advantageous
* Eye for detail and great with time management
* Ability to work effectively in a team, as well as independently
