We are a small, established public accounting practice in Rockingham with a team of 7 staff, delivering accounting, taxation and advisory services to small businesses, individuals and investors. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to help strengthen the internal running of the practice and support the next stage of our development.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on organisation, continuous improvement, and supporting a team to do their best work.
Key responsibilities:
· Oversee the day-to-day operations of the practice
· Supervise administrative and operational staff
· Manage workflow, job scheduling and internal deadlines
· Support the directors with operational planning and reporting
· Maintain and improve systems, processes and internal procedures
· Assist with staff onboarding, training and coordination
· Ensure a high standard of client service and office administration
Help drive efficiency, accountability and consistency across the practice
About You
You need to be humble enough to:

Proficient enough to:
* Navigate software easily
* Be continuously improving what you are doing
Assertive enough to:
* Attend to clients
* Negotiate with debtors
* Manage Accountants workflow
· Previous experience in operations, office management or practice management
· Strong organisational, leadership and communication skills
· Ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment
· A proactive, practical and solutions-focused approach
· Experience in an accounting practice or professional services firm will be highly regarded
